President Anne Rowberry's Historic Trip to London

Meeting with the King

BBKA President Anne Rowberry visited London and presented a jar of honey to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. After some initial confusion with security, she was allowed to deliver the gift, along with a note about National Honey Day, to the King's breakfast table.

Visit to the House of Commons

Following her meeting at the palace, Anne went to the House of Commons to present another jar of honey to her constituency MP Wera Hobhouse. Despite the Prime Minister's resignation causing a stir, Anne managed to deliver the gift and even took a photo outside the Houses of Parliament.
