Bees Prepare for Hibernation in Bayburt

Beekeepers Prepare for Winter

In Bayburt, the beehives that were taken to the plateaus in spring have been moved back to the villages as the weather has cooled down. With the drop in temperature, beekeepers are protecting the bees from freezing cold by narrowing the hives and covering them with protective materials such as sacks and cloth. This method not only prevents the bees from dying but also ensures they enter the next season healthier.
