The Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress Has Started in Marmaris

The 8th International Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress has begun in the Marmaris district of Muğla. In a speech at the congress held at a hotel, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ahmet Gümen stated that the importance of food production and supply security has been better understood due to wars, pandemics, natural disasters, and climate change. Gümen noted that they are trying to present a strong vision as a Ministry to ensure Turkey's food supply security, saying, "All these steps we are taking will contribute to the growth and development of the beekeeping sector, which has a significant share in global production."
