The Importance of Bees and Their Conservation

Bees dance. Or something very similar: honeybees use a kind of choreography to communicate with each other and indicate where or how far pollen is located. Recent studies even suggest that they may be capable of social learning by observing their companions. This small insect is one of the most fascinating, especially due to its organization in perfectly synchronized communities where everything fits together. Everything except the wild actions of humans on their environments. Bees are in danger, warns the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and that is why the United Nations designated May 20 as their international day. To alert and raise awareness. Because without them and their pollination, a large part of the world's food supply would be compromised.
