Can agriculture and beekeeping coexist?

Is it necessary to ban pesticides to protect bees? The answer lies in good practices. Bees assist in agricultural production, and just as beekeeping benefits agriculture, it is important to consider that agriculture also benefits beekeeping, explains Mauricio Rodríguez, Director of Scientific Affairs at CropLife LATAM. Pollinators, including bees, feed on the flowers of crops. “For this reason, it is important that these two sectors work together seeking mutual benefit,” says the expert.
