Impact of Agrochemicals on Bees in Colombia

It is true that around the world, bees are affected by the poor and indiscriminate use of agrochemicals, and Colombia is no exception; several beekeepers affiliated with our organizations have been seriously harmed. Therefore, we promote the application of good agricultural practices and good beekeeping practices to improve the coexistence between agriculture and beekeeping, which is inseparable. It is essential to have coordinated efforts among all entities, both public and private, to reduce the impact that agrochemicals have on bees and other pollinators.
