Transforming Bee Health into Meaningful Information

There is no doubt that bees and other pollinators play an important role in agricultural systems around the world. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), more than 75% of global crops for human consumption depend, at least in part, on the pollination by insects and other animals. Being aware of the importance of protecting these pollinators, the Fraunhofer Chile Research Foundation developed the “Bee Health 2020” program in Latin America, in collaboration with the Bayer Bee Care Center.
