A Rare Wild Bee Species in a British Forest Remains Unscathed by Threats

Filippo Salbani exclaimed with excitement upon seeing the queen bee laying her eggs, as he stood on an ancient oak tree in central England, observing a rare species of wild bee. The South African physiologist, passionate about bees, confirms that these insects are not ordinary; they belong to a rare ecological type, descended from a lineage that has existed for centuries in this area. The discovery of this bee species has sparked enthusiasm in Blenheim, although DNA tests have yet to confirm this initial conclusion. It was believed that this species had gone extinct due to diseases and pesticides.
