Police Violence in Arkansas

Three police officers in the state of Arkansas have been suspended after they were caught on video assaulting a suspect. An investigation has been launched following footage showing the officers using violence against 27-year-old Randall Worcester in the town of Mulberry, located in Crawford County.

The video shows the officers punching and kicking Worcester as they hold him down in front of a market. The state police claimed that Worcester, who allegedly threatened a market employee, pushed one of the intervening officers to the ground and punched him. Authorities announced that two Crawford County sheriff's deputies and one Mulberry police officer have been placed on administrative leave.
