Piro Özek (50), who went to check the bee hives in Hakkari, lost his balance and fell from a 300-meter cliff, resulting in his death. Özek's lifeless body was retrieved from the location after a 5-hour effort by the teams.

The incident occurred around 5:00 PM in the city forest of the Sümbül neighborhood. Allegedly, Piro Özek, who went to check the bee hives in the city forest, did not return home. Concerned about Özek's situation, his family notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, police, AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the area.
