Bees Defy Winter in the Konya Plateau

In the plateau of Konya, bees have started to bring in pollen contrary to seasonal norms. Despite the presence of snow in the Arslantaş neighborhood at an altitude of 1700 meters, the bees have begun to leave their hives to collect pollen due to the above-normal air temperatures. Beekeeper Mustafa Çelmeli stated that it is not a good sign for the bees to be going outside and collecting pollen during the winter months. Çelmeli said, "Under normal conditions, there is a very high probability of snow and cold weather here until the end of March."
