Has Been Beekeeping for 50 Years

Mustafa Kara, at 80 years old, has been practicing beekeeping for 50 years with 450 hives, working alongside his daughter. Beekeeper Mustafa Kara from Ordu continues the beekeeping he started 50 years ago. Living in the Karşıyaka neighborhood of Çatalpınar district, Kara, who has 10 children and 30 grandchildren, increased the number of hives to 450 since he began beekeeping in 1975 with his own means. Over the years, he has traveled from city to city, spending parts of the year away from home in search of quality honey. After the passing of his wife, he is trying to continue his profession with the support of his daughter Emine Kara, with whom he lives.
