From the Bay Nui mountains, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, residing in Thoi Son district, An Giang province, developed a beekeeping model for stingless bees combined with medicinal plant cultivation. Starting with a few hives, the model now includes nearly 1,000 hives, aiming to expand locally.

Born and raised in Bay Nui, Thanh is familiar with stingless bees, a native species nesting in natural cavities. Despite their small size and low honey yield, he saw economic potential. In 2016, he began studying their behavior and reproduction, initially managing about ten hives.
