In Helvoirt, an Asian hornet nest was removed for the third time this week on Wednesday morning. The nest, discovered Tuesday evening, was hanging in a tree along the Dijk, parallel to the N65. The company Beez & Honet from Esch carried out the removal. After this job, another assignment was scheduled in Vught.
On Tuesday, Beez & Honet also removed two nests in Helvoirt: one near Eikendonk and one at Van Grevenbroekstraat, near the monument. The latter nest was discovered and reported by local residents, after which the municipality had it removed.
