On October 21, 27 middle school students in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province, were stung by bees after provoking a hive by throwing stones at it on the schoolyard. The students required emergency medical treatment due to severe pain, intense itching, and widespread hives.

By the morning of October 22, the Trieu Hai district general hospital in Quang Tri reported actively monitoring and treating all 27 students. Thanks to timely and proper medical care, all patients are now recovering steadily under close observation to prevent serious complications.
