In Yüksekova district of Hakkari, 30 beekeepers received electric fence systems with 75% grants to protect their bee hives. These systems operate using solar energy.
Under the "I Put Up a Fence, My Bees Are Safe" project funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's General Directorate of Livestock and implemented by the Hakkari Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, eligible producers were provided with equipment. The distribution ceremony was attended by District Agriculture and Forestry Director Murat İnan and many producers.
