With the start of the pine honey season in Turkey, beekeepers in Kuşadası, Aydın began their first honey extraction work. As Turkey produces 90% of the world's pine honey, the season officially opened and beekeepers in Kuşadası Davutlar prepared for extraction. Şöhret said the harvest was delayed this year due to rains, but the bees filled the combs with honey. He mentioned that the yield was lower than previous years but they had a productive season.
