On October 21, 2026, Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member Kim Seong-nam (People Power Party, Pocheon 2) attended the '2026 Second Half Gyeonggi Province Beekeeping Industry and Bee Damage Issue Task Force Meeting' at the Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services. The meeting reviewed the current status of beekeeping projects in the province and addressed key issues such as bee mortality, diseases, and pest damage.

Participants included representatives from the Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services, Livestock Animal Welfare Bureau, Northern Animal Hygiene Testing Center, and Gyeonggi Livestock Promotion Center.
