In Hakkari, within the scope of the “I Installed Fences, My Bees Are Safe” project aimed at protecting bee hives from wild animals, electric fence sets were distributed to 262 beekeepers. The project's contributions to the regional economy and benefits to producers were highlighted at a ceremony attended by Governor İbrahim Taşyapan. Supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's General Directorate of Livestock, the project aims to prevent wild animals from damaging bee hives.
