In Hakkari, 262 solar-powered electric fence sets were distributed to producers to protect bee hives.

Within the scope of the "I Put Up a Fence, My Bees Are Safe" project, the aim is to protect beekeeping activities and ensure sustainable production. The project increased the safety of production processes for beekeepers in the region.

Hakkari Governor İbrahim Taşyapan, Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Director Mehmet Asım Şen, and beekeeper Hidayet Aldıran spoke at the project introduction program. Governor Taşyapan emphasized the importance of beekeeping for Hakkari's economy and the necessity of such support.
